A quiet, pale watercolour. The form is barely there, but the sense of the apple is present. I painted this intuitively, without thinking too hard about it. It felt calm.
A quiet A5 watercolour of a single clementine, painted in soft orange washes and gentle bleeds. I didn’t want to define the form too sharply — just suggest its presence, its stillness.
There’s space in the paper. The light and calm feel more important than the fruit itself.
